هدف: این پژوهش با هدف بررسی کاهش اثرات نامطلوب تنش شوری بر جوانه‌زنی و صفات مرتبط با آن در گندم   توسط پرایمینگ بذر با نانوذرات کیتوزان اجرا گردید.
روش پژوهش: آزمایش به صورت فاکتوریل در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی با سه تکرار در دانشگاه محقق اردبیلی در سال 1404 انجام شد. تیمارها شامل چهار سطح شوری (صفر، 50، 100 و 150 میلی‌مولار کلریدسدیم) و چهار سطح نانو ذرات کیتوزان ( 0، 1/0، 2/0 و 5/0 درصد وزنی- حجمی محلول در اسید استیک یک درصد) بود.
یافته‌ها: درصد جوانه‌زنی و وزن تر ساقه‌چه در سطح شوری 150 میلی‌مولار نسبت به شاهد (بدون شوری) کاهش یافت، اما پرایمینگ بذر با نانوذرات کیتوزان 5/0 درصد، درصد جوانه‌زنی و وزن تر ساقه‌چه را در همان سطح از شوری به ترتیب در حدود 20 و 50 درصد نسبت به عدم کاربرد کیتوزان بهبود بخشید. وزن تر ریشه‌چه، وزن خشک ریشه‌چه، وزن خشک ساقه‌چه، شاخص طولی بنیه گیاهچه و شاخص وزنی بنیه گیاهچه در تیمار با نانوذرات کیتوزان 5/0 درصد و بدون شوری نسبت به هیدروپرایمینگ و شوری 150 میلی‌مولار به‌ترتیب 77، 72، 83، 76 و 89 درصد افزایش نشان دادند. با افزایش شوری میزان پرولین افزایش یافت، ولی کاربرد نانوذرات کیتوزان با غلظت 5/0 درصد این صفت را 32 درصد نسبت به هیدروپرایمینگ افزایش داد. میزان پروتئین در شوری صفر میلی‌مولار و پرایمینگ با نانوذرات کیتوزان 5/0 درصد نسبت به هیدروپرایمینگ و شوری 150 میلی‌مولار 76 درصد افزایش نشان داد. همچنین، میزان قندهای محلول در تیمار با نانوذرات کیتوزان 5/0 درصد و شوری 150 میلی‌مولار نسبت به هیدروپرایمینگ و بدون شوری در حدود 84 درصد افزایش نشان داد.
نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این تحقیق نشان داد که استفاده از نانوکیتوزان 5/0 درصد موجب تقویت شاخص‌های جوانه‌زنی و بیوشیمیایی بذرهای گندم تحت تنش شوری می‌شود.
جنبه‌های نوآوری
  • پرایمینگ بذر گندم رقم سائین با استفاده از نانوکیتوزان 5/0 درصد سبب بهبود برخی شاخص‌های جوانهزنی بذر تحت شرایط شوری گردید.
  • پرایمینگ بذر گندم رقم سائین با نانوکیتوزان 5/0 درصد، پرولین، پروتئین و میزان قندهای محلول گیاهچه را افزایش داد.
