به‌منظور بررسی اثر کاربرد سالیسیلیک اسید و جیبرلیک اسید بر شاخص‌های جوانه‌زنی و تغییرات پروتئین، کاتالاز و پرولین بذر کلزا تحت شرایط تنش مس، آزمایشی به‌صورت فاکتوریل، در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی و با 3 تکرار انجام شد. عامل اول شامل 4 سطح تنش سولفات مس (صفر، 10، 20 و 30 میلی‌گرم در لیتر) و عامل دوم شامل 4 سطح، پیش‌تیمار بذر با 50 میلی‌گرم در لیتر سالیسیلیک اسید و جیبرلیک اسید، هیدروپرایم و بذر بدون پیش‌تیمار (شاهد) بود. نتایج نشان داد با افزایش در سطوح تنش سولفات مس شاخص‌های جوانه‌زنی (درصد جوانه‌زنی، سرعت جوانه‌زنی، درصد گیاهچه طبیعی، طول گیاهچه و بنیه بذر) کاهش یافت و استفاده از سالیسیلیک اسید، جیبرلیک اسید و هیدروپرایم سبب افزایش در شاخص‌های جوانه‌زنی شد. بالاترین درصد جوانه‌زنی (94 درصد)، سرعت جوانه‌زنی (75/30 بذر در روز)، درصد گیاهچه طبیعی (17/86 درصد)، طول گیاهچه (53/10 سانتی‌متر) و بنیه بذر (08/9) از تیمار بذر با اسید  سالیسیلیک به‌دست آمد. تنش فلز سنگین مس (سولفات مس) سبب افزایش در میزان پرولین (35 درصد) و آنزیم کاتالاز (37 درصد) و کاهش در میزان پروتئین (65 درصد) شد ولی پیش‌تیمار بذر سبب افزایش در میزان پرولین و آنزیم کاتالاز و پروتئین در مقایسه با بذر پیش‌تیمار نشده در شرایط تنش و عدم تنش شد. در این پژوهش پیش‌تیمار بذر با سالیسیلیک‌اسید موجب افزایش شاخص‌های جوانه‌زنی، فعالیت آنزیم کاتالاز، پرولین و پروتئین نسبت به تیمار شاهد شد.
