سلاح‌ورزی، ت.،  عابدی، ب.، و بیک‌زاده، ن. (1402). اثر عصاره­ها‌ی آبی و اتانولی میوه و برگ توت آمریکایی بر Erwinia amylovora عامل  آتشک سیب و گلابی. دانش بیماری­شناسی گیاهی، 13 (1)، 88-75.
آتشک ناشی ازErwinia amylovora  یکی از بیماری‌های مهم‌  درختان سیب و گلابی در جهان است. هدف از این پژوهش، تعیین اثر ضدباکتریایی عصاره‌های اتانولی و آبی میوه و برگ درخت توت آمریکایی یا پرتقال اوسیج (Maclura pomifera)  علیه عامل این بیماری بود. اثر عصارههای اتانولی و آبی برگ و میوه این گیاه بررشد کلنی E. amylovora در هشت غلظت‌ با روش انتشار در دیسک آزمایش شد. همچنین فعالیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی و فنل کل این عصارهها نیز اندازه‌گیری شدند. آزمایش به صورت فاکتوریل در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی با چهار تکرار برای هر تیمار در شرایط آزمایشگاهی اجرا شد. یافته­ها نشان دادند که نوع عصاره و اندام گیاهی در خاصیت ضد باکتریایی، فعالیت آنتی­ اکسیدانی و میزان فنل کل موثر است. عصاره اتانولی میوه با غلظت 1000 میلی‌گرم بر میلی‌لیتر با قطر متوسط ​​هاله بازدارندگی 57/5 میلی‌متر، بیشترین اثر بازدارندگی را در برابر E. amylovora، فعالیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی و محتوای فنل کل داشت، در حالی که عصاره آبی میوه و عصاره آبی و اتانولی برگ تاثیر معنی­داری نداشتند. بنابراین عصاره اتانولی میوه توت آمریکایی تاثیر بازدارندگی از رشد کلنی E. amylovora دارد و می­تواند در مدیریت بیماری به عنوان یک ترکیب طبیعی در نظر گرفته شود.
