به‌منظور بررسی برهمکنش سطوح مختلف عصاره آبی ورمی کمپوست و تنش شوری بر شاخص‌های جوانه‌زنی نخود (رقم کرج) آزمایشی به‌صورت فاکتوریل در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی با سه تکرار انجام شد. فاکتورهای آزمایش شامل: 4 سطح مختلف از عصاره ورمی کمپوست شامل (صفر، 5، 10 و 20 درصد حجمی) و 4 غلظت شوری: صفر، 30، 60 و 90 میلی مول بر لیتر کلرید سدیم بود. نتایج نشان داد بین سطوح مختلف عصاره ورمی کمپوست و تنش شوری اختلاف معنی‌داری  (در سطح احتمال 1 درصد) از نظر درصد جوانه‌زنی، طول ساقه‌چه و وزن خشک ساقه‌چه وجود داشت. تنش شوری در سطح 90 میلی مول بر لیتر کلرید سدیم منجر به کاهش معنی‌داری در کلیه صفات مورد بررسی نسبت به شرایط بدون تنش شوری شد. برهم‌کنش عصاره ورمی کمپوست و تنش شوری تأثیر معنی‌داری (در سطح احتمال 5 درصد)  بر میزان سرعت جوانه‌زنی، طول ریشه‌چه، وزن خشک ریشه‌چه و آندوسپرم مصرفی داشت. عصاره ورمی کمپوست با سطح 5 درصد حجمی در تیمارهای تنش شوری ملایم (30 میلی مول بر لیتر کلرید سدیم) و بدون تنش شوری، موجب افزایش معنی‌داری در میزان طول ریشه‌چه، وزن خشک ریشه‌چه و آندوسپرم مصرفی نسبت به سطح صفر شد.
