جباری ح، نیکنام غ، فلاحی ا (1402) اولین گزارش Proleptonchus brevisaccus (Nematoda: Leptonchidae) از ایران. دانش بیماریشناسی گیاهی 12(2):94-86.
نماتدها موجوداتی پرسلولی، کرمیشکلی متنوع از نظر تعداد، دامنه میزبانی، زیستگاه و دارای گونه‌های بسیار متنوعی هستند که شاخه مستقلی را در سلسله جانوران به خود اختصاص داده و توان زندگی و بقا در کلیه زیستگاه‌ها را دارند. به منظور بررسی فون نماتدهای آزادزی در اطراف شهر آستارا، جنگل مشه سویی نمونه‌های متعددی از کناره‌های ماسه‌ای رودخانه محلی موجود در منطقه در سال1393 جمع آوری گردید. نماتدهای داخل نمونه‌ها به روش‌های معمول از خاک جداسازی و بعد از کشتن و تثبیت به گلیسیرین خالص رسانده شدند. بعد از تهیه اسلایدهای دایمی از نماتدها، خصوصیات ریخت شناختی و ریخت سنجی آنها با استفاده از میکروسکوپ نوری مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. در بین نماتدهای مختلف تشخیص داده شده که از گروه‌های مختلف تغذیه‌ای بودند، جمعیتی از تیره Leptonchidae متعلق به جنس Proleptonchus نیز به‌دست آمد. مشخصه اصلی این جنس داشتن کیلوستوم کوزه‌ای شکل است. با استفاده از منابع و کلیدهای شناسایی معتبر، این جمعیت تحت نامP. brevisaccus شناسایی گردید. این گونه جزو افراد معدود این جنس که کیسه عقبی رحم کوتاه دارند، می‌باشد. با بررسی گزارشات موجود، این گونه برای فون نماتدی ایران جدید بوده و نر آن نیز برای اولین بار گزارش و توصیف می‌شود.
