طهماسبی ا ، قدوم­پاریزی­پور م ح (1398) نقش هورمون­های براسینواستروییدی در واکنش گیاهان به بیمارگرها. دانش بیماری‌شناسی گیاهی 9(1): 117-108.

گیاهان به طور متداول مورد حمله بیمارگرهای مختلف قرار می‌گیرند. مسیرهای دفاعی مختلف در گیاهان در پاسخ به بیمارگرها، تکامل یافته‌اند. مشخص شده که پاسخ‌های دفاعی گیاه توسط هورمون‌های مختلف گیاهی تنظیم می‌شوند. براسینواستروییدها هورمون‌های اِستروییدی اختصاصی در گیاهان هستند که نقش‌های مهمی در تنظیم فرآیندهای رشد و نمو ایفا می‌کنند. آنها علاوه بر ایفای نقش به عنوان تنظیم کننده رشد گیاهان، در پاسخ‌های دفاعی به بیمارگرها نیز نقش دارند. پژوهش­های زیادی در مورد نقش آنها در مقاومت گیاهان به قارچها،  باکتریها و ویروسها شده است، که در این مقاله شرح داده شده­اند. شناخت بیشتر نقش این هورمونها در پاسخهای دفاعی گیاهان می‌تواند در جهت القای مقاومت یا تولید گیاهان مقاوم به بیمارگرها، مفید واقع شود.
