واصبی ی. برون س. و فقیهی م. م. 1396. عوامل بیماریزای مشترک گیاه و انسان. دانش بیماری‌شناسی گیاهی 6(2): 88-78.

بعضی بیمارگر‌های گیاهان تهدیدی جدی برای سلامت انسان نیز به ‌شمار می‌روند. قارچ­های بیمارگر گیاهی از جنس­های Alternaria ، Aspergillus  ، Bipolaris ، Cladosporium ، Claviceps، Fusarium ، Paecilomyces و Exserohilum و باکتری­هایی از جنس­های Burkholderia، Enterobacter ، Enterococcus  ، Escherichia، Erwinia ،Pantoea، Pseudomonas، Salmonella،  Serratia  و Xanthomonas باعث بیماری­های خطرناکی در انسان نیز می­شوند. بیماری­های ناشی از این ریزجانداران در گیاهان و انسان شرح داده شده­ اند و پ‍ژوهش­های بیشتر برای شناسایی آن­ها روی میوه و سبزی­هایی که به صورت خام مصرف می­شوند، پیشنهاد ‌شده است.
