مقدمه: قارچ   sclerotiorumSclerotiniaعامل پوسیدگی سفید قسمت‌های هوایی دامنه وسیعی از گیاهان است. هدف از این پژوهش، مقایسه واکنش بین بافت زنده برگ‌های خردل هندی بر رشد این قارچ، در شرایط روزنه‌های باز و بسته بود. مواد و روش‌ها: جدایه خالصی از قارچ به روش نوک ریسه روی محیط آب آگار تهیه گردید. آزمایش در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی با چهار تیمار انجام شد. تشکیل ترکیب‌های بازدارنده رشد قارچ در بافت برگ همه تیمارها با دستگاه GC-MS بررسی شد.
یافته‌ها: تجزیه واریانس داده‌های آزمایش نشان داد که قطر پرگنه قارچ در تیمار با روزنه‌های باز برگ به طور معنی­داری کمتر از سایرین است.  کروماتوگرافی گازی،1-پروپن­3-ایزوتیوسیانات، را به­‌ عنوان ترکیب فرار بازدارنده رشد قارچ در این تیمار شناسایی کرد. نتیجه‌گیری: تولید این ترکیب فرار آلیل ایزوتیوسیاناتی در برگ خردل هندی مانع از رشد قارچ sclerotiorumSمی‌شود.
