ناظریان ع. و صیاد س. 1396. ویروس‌های انگل قارچ‌ها. دانش بیماری‌شناسی گیاهی 6(2): 104-97.

چندین ویروس به عنوان انگل جدایه­ هایی از قارچ­های عامل سوختگی شاه­بلوط، پوسیدگی ساقه کلزا، سوختگی سنبله گندم، سیاهک ذرت و تعدادی از کپک­ها و مخمرها شناخته شده­ اند. این ویروس­های قارچی موجب کاهش رشد، تکثیر و قدرت بیماری­زایی، تولید رنگدانه­ های غیر طبیعی در میسلیوم، یا ایجاد جهش در قارچ­ میزبان می­شوند. این ویروس­ها می­توانند از راه جوش ریسه­ای به جدایه ­های دیگر همان قارچ یا قارچ دیگری منتقل شوند و باعث بروز بیماری مشابهی در آن­ها گردند. بنابراین شناسایی جدایه­های کم­آزار و آلوده به ویروس، قارچ­های بیمارگر و استفاده از آن­ها برای حفاظت گیاهان در برابر جدایه­های پرآزار و مدیریت بیماری­های گیاهی پیشنهاد می­شود.
