مقدمه: گونه‌هایی که در محدوده جغرافیایی وسیعی پراکنش دارند، دارای رنج وسیعی به مقاومت به سرما می‌­باشند. درختان مناطق معتدل باید در مقابل دماهای یخبندان به‌ ویژه سرمای زودرس و زمستان سازگاری نشان دهند. یکی از راهکارهای مقاومت به سرما از طریق کاهش طول روز و دما در طی فرآیند سازگاری انجام می­‌گیرد. از طرفی پرونانس یک گونه می‌تواند یکی از عوامل مهم تأثیرگذار در مقاومت به سرما باشد. لذا در این پژوهش تأثیر تنش سرما بر تغییرات فیزیولوژیکی سه پرونانس‌ بنه در زاگرس جنوبی بررسی گردید تا مقاوم‌ترین پرونانس معرفی گردد. مواد و روش‌ها: بذور سه پرونانس واقع در مارگون، نورآباد و یاسوج از زاگرس جنوبی جمع‌آوری شدند و در داخل گلدان کاشته شدند. پس از سبز شدن نهال‌ها، آن‌ها در معرض دو مرحله فرآیند سازگاری به مدت 4 هفته قرار گرفتند که این کار با شبیه‌سازی دمای روز و شب و طول دوره نوری در طی ماه‌های شهریور تا آبان ماه یاسوج انجام شد. سپس شاخص‌­های عملکرد فتوسیستم و محتوای کلروفیل برگ اندازه‌ گیری شد. پس از هر مرحله سازگاری، اندام برگ و ساقه نهال‌ها در سه تیمار دمایی ˚C4 (کنترل)، ˚C20- به مدت یک ساعت و ˚C20- به مدت دو ساعت قرار گرفتند. سپس محتوای نسبی آب و نرخ نشت الکترولیت برگ و ساقه اندازه‌گیری شد. پژوهش حاضر به‌ صورت آزمایش فاکتوریل با سه فاکتور پرونانس (3 سطح)، تیمار دمایی (3 سطح) و سازگاری (2 سطح) در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی اجرا شد. نتایج: نتایج نشان داد که با کاهش دما نرخ نشت الکترولیت افزایش یافت که این افزایش در پرونانس نورآباد بیشترین مقدار بود. همچنین کاهش محتوای نسبی آب ساقه در سازگاری دوم پرونانس یاسوج و مارگون مشاهده شد. محتوای کلروفیل، ماکزیمم عملکرد فتوسیستم II و سرعت انتقال الکترون در پرونانس نورآباد کمتر از دو پرونانس دیگر بود. همچنین در طی سازگاری به سرما نیز کلیه مؤلفه‌های فلورسانس کلروفیل به‌جز سرعت انتقال الکترون کاهش معنی‌­دار یافتند. نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این تحقیق نشان داد که اندازه ­گیری نرخ نشت الکترولیت و عملکرد فتوسیستم می­تواند در شناسایی پرونانس­‌های مقاوم به سرما مؤثر باشد. نهال‌های پرونانس نورآباد حساس­ترین و مارگون مقاوم­ترین بودند که می­تواند به دلیل ارتفاع بالاتر و اقلیم سردتر پرونانس مارگون ­باشد.
