(1402). کاربرد فاژها برای مهار زیستی باکتریهای بیماریزای گیاهان. دانش بیماریشناسی گیاهی، 13 (1)، 64-55. باکتریهای بیماریزا یکی از مهمترین عوامل کاهش عملکرد محصولات گیاهی می باشند. مدیریت این بیمارگرها در گذشته به استفاده از سمهای ضد باکتریایی یا القاکنندههای مقاومت محدود می شد، اما با کشف باکتریوفاژها در دهه های اخیر، توجه به استفاده از آنها افزایش یافته است. باکتریوفاژها یا فاژها ویروسهایی هستند که به صورت  کاملا اختصاصی بر سلولهای باکتریایی اثر میگذارند. در حال حاضر، صدها باکتریوفاژ جداسازی و علیه باکتریهای بیماریزای گیاهی آزمایش شدهاند و همچنان تعداد زیادی نیز وجود دارند که بایستی بررسی شوند. این رویکرد نیازمند پروتکل‌های خاصی برای شناسایی فاژهای جدید، درک پیدایش کلون‌های مقاوم به فاژ و عفونت‌پذیری سایر گونه‌های باکتریایی میباشد. فاژتراپی یا استفاده از فاژها برای مهارزیستی با باکتریهای بیماریزای گیاهی به خاطر ارزان بودن، اختصاصیت بسیار بالا فاژها علیه باکتریها، عدم تاثیر منفی روی انسان یا حیوانات و عدم آلودگی زیست محیطی، به عنوان روشی مناسب برای مهارزیستی این بیمارگرها میتواند در نظر گرفته شود.  </div> Rastgou, M., & Honarvar, S. Pathogenic bacteria are one of the most important factors in reducing the yield of plant products. In the past, the management of these pathogens was limited to the use of antibacterial compounds or resistance inducers, but with the discovery of bacteriophages in recent decades, attention to their use has increased. Bacteriophages or phages are viruses that specifically affect bacterial cells. Currently, hundreds of bacteriophages have been isolated and tested against plant pathogenic bacteria, and there are still many more that need to be investigated. This approach requires special protocols to identify new phages, understand the emergence of phage-resistant clones and the infectivity of other bacterial species.
