مقدمه: بیماری خشکیدگی خوشه از مهم‌ترین عوامل خسارت‌زای نخل خرما می‌باشد. هدف از انجام این پژوهش ایجاد سیستم تصمیم‌گیری در مدیریت بیماری با استفاده از مدل‌های آب و هوایی و زمین آماری برای پیش‌آگاهی و ردیابی بیماری در استان خوزستان بود. مواد و روش‌ها: در مناطق مورد مطالعه استان خوزستان از داده‌های 5 ساله شبکه مراقبت نخیلات این استان استفاده گردید. برای برآورد درصد آسیب بیماری از هر روستا یک نخلستان به صورت تصادفی انتخاب و در طول فصل نمونه‌برداری انجام شد. یافته‌ها: یافته ها نشان داد که آسیب بیماری از حدود فروردین ماه آغاز شد و به تدریج با گرم شدن هوا بر شدت آن افزوده شد. مدل رگرسیون برازش شده برای پیش‌آگاهی در کلیه مناطق در سطح 1 و 5 درصد معنی‌دار بود. تغییرنمـای پراکنش بیماری خشکیدگی خوشه خرما نشان داد میزان اثر قطعه در این مدل به ترتیب در مناطق آبادان - خرمشهر، شادگان، ماهشهر، اهواز و بهبهان معادل 5/2، 51/0، 15/0، 7/1 و 6/1 بوده و نشان دهنده کم بودن خطای برآورد شدت آسیب بیماری در فواصل کمتر از فاصله نمونه‌برداری بود. دامنه تغییر نمای پراکنش به ترتیب معادل 1/4، 9/12، 7/4، 9/1 و 06/11 کیلومتر بود و در فواصل بیشتر از این حد کم‌ترین همبستگی بین داده باقی می‌ماند. آستانه مدل به ترتیب معادل 51/0، 31/0، 37/0، 76/0 و 49/0 بود که نشان دهنده نسبتی از ناحیه مورد مطالعه می‌باشد که با خطای معادل نوگت یا کمتر از آن بیماری قابلیت ردیابی داشت. نتیجه‌گیری: یافته ها این پژوهش گامی اساسی در ایجاد سیستم تصمیم‌گیری در زمینه مدیریت این بیماری در شبکه مراقبت نخیلات است. براساس یافته ها این پژوهش، بیماری خشکیدگی به نحو مناسبی قابل ردیابی، پیش‌آگاهی و مدیریت قبل از وقوع حداکثر آسیب آن است.
