ترکیبات دگرآسیبی در تنوع زیستی و توانایی تولید زیست‌بوم‌ها نقش مهمی را بر عهده دارند. بر همین اساس آزمایشی جهت بررسی اثرات دگرآسیبی عصاره شش گونه زینتی سپستان (Cordia myxa)، چریش Azadirachta indica) مشعل جنگل (Delonix regiaگارم زنگی (Terminalia catappa)، اکالیپتوس (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) و انجیر معابد (Ficus religiosa) در دو غلظت 50 و 100 درصد، بر جوانه‌زنی و رشد اولیه گیاهچه گل همیشه بهار انجام شد. آزمایش در قالب طرح کاملاً تصادفی با سه تکرار در آزمایشگاه باغبانی دانشگاه هرمزگان در سال 1392 اجرا گردید. نتایج حاصل از این تحقیق نشان داد که عصاره تمام گونه‌های استفاده شده، درصد و سرعت جوانه‌زنی، شاخص بنیه بذر، رشد ریشه‌چه و ساقه‌چه را به‌طور معنی‌داری کاهش دادند؛ اما وزن خشک گیاهچه همیشه بهار تحت تأثیر قرار نگرفت. عصاره مشعل جنگل در هر دو غلظت از جوانه‌زنی بذرهای گل همیشه بهار جلوگیری کرد. در مرتبه بعدی چریش بیشترین تأثیر بر فاکتورهای مختلف اندازه‌گیری شده نشان داد. عصاره‌های سپستان و گارم زنگی گرچه بر فاکتورهای مذکور مؤثر بودند اما در مقایسه با دیگر گونه‌ها تأثیر کمتری نشان داند. غلظت 100 درصد تیمارهای مختلف تأثیر بیشتری نسبت به 50 درصد نشان داد. به‌طور کلی نتایج آزمایش نشان داد که تأثیر بازدارندگی عصاره‌های مختلف بر همیشه بهار بر اساس نوع گیاه متفاوت می‌باشد و کشت آن در فضای سبز در ترکیب با مشعل جنگل و چریش توصیه نمی‌شود.
