Aims and Scope


Aims

The "Applied Nanomaterials" is published with the aim of advancing knowledge and technology in the field of nanomaterials and their various applications in different industries. The main objectives of this journal are:

  1. Publishing original and innovative research: Publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed scientific research articles in the field of applied nanomaterials that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and present new innovations.

  2. Creating a platform for scientific information exchange: Providing a suitable environment for exchanging information and new ideas among researchers, academics, and industry professionals in the field of applied nanomaterials.

  3. Enhancing the scientific level of the country: Contributing to the enhancement of the scientific level in the field of applied nanomaterials.

  4. Introducing Iranian researchers to the global scientific community: Publishing articles in Persian with English abstracts to introduce Iranian researchers and their achievements to the global scientific community.

  5. Promoting the application of nanomaterials in various industries: Promoting the use of nanomaterials in various industries such as medicine, electronics, energy, and environment.

  6. Supporting fundamental and applied research: Publishing a wide range of articles to support both fundamental and applied research in the field of nanomaterials.


Scope

The "Applied Nanomaterials" publishes scientific research articles in the following areas (and related fields):

1. Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials

  • Novel synthesis methods for nanomaterials (nanoparticles, nanotubes, nanosheets, and other nanometric structures)

  • Improvement and optimization of existing synthesis methods

  • Investigation of physical, chemical, and structural properties of nanomaterials using various characterization techniques (XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, UV-Vis, BET, etc.)

2. Nanocomposites

  • Design and fabrication of polymeric, ceramic, and metallic nanocomposites

  • Investigation of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and optical properties of nanocomposites

  • Applications of nanocomposites in various industries

3. Nanomaterials in Medicine and Drug Delivery

  • Applications of nanomaterials in disease diagnosis and therapy

  • Design and development of targeted drug delivery systems

  • Tissue engineering and applications of nanomaterials in tissue regeneration

  • Medical imaging using nanomaterials

4. Nanomaterials in Energy

  • Applications of nanomaterials in solar cells

  • Design and fabrication of batteries and supercapacitors using nanomaterials

  • Fuel cells and related technologies

  • Hydrogen storage and production using nanomaterials

5. Nanomaterials in Electronics and Photonics

  • Applications of nanomaterials in transistors and electronic components

  • Sensors and biosensors based on nanomaterials
